Up at 0:dark:5am to begin our latest French adventure. We have each packed 14 days' worth of clothes in a 7-day suitcase so we'll see how it goes. Good neighbor Frank arrives promptly at 6:30am to drive us to the airport. What a treat. Speaking of treats--the TSA Pre-Check line is a breeze. A big sign says "Busy Traveler; Don't Remove Your Shoes!" And we didn't have to disrobe, subject ourselves to body searches, or empty our 3-1-1 bags onto the conveyor belt. Plus, the TSA lady was friendly and cheerful. Wow!!
We arrived at Newark airport in plenty of time (6 hours before flight time)--just how Lloyd likes it! Fortunately we can amuse ourselves in the United Presidents' Club with drinks, snacks, and free Wi-Fi.
